Signature Styles Continues to Be the “Best of the Best”

Signature Styles owner Tess Onorato has always strived to offer central Vermont the best in salon services, and after 3 1/2 years at 100 State Street in Montpelier, she continues this passion.

Onorato’s strategy is to continue to “re-invent” her operation and stay on the cutting edge of “what’s new.” Miraculously, Tess has been able to do this tastefully within the existing shop space.

Customers can now experience the beautifully revamped spa area and enjoy a “River Rock” Pedicure” a “Hydrotherapy Pedicure” with deep whirlpool jets, or a “Double Manicure” with a friend and the ability to choose from over 38 new shades of shellac.

Onorato explains that shellac is an innovative nail polish that won’t crack, chip or smudge for up to two weeks. “This procedure is very exciting and popular right now with our clients,” she says.

The highly talented staff at Signature Styles are also pleased to be offering the new Brazilian Keratin Treatments - an intense procedure “that leaves hair soft, shiny and frizz-free for up to four months.”

Signature Styles is also the area’s headquarters for Bare Escentuals makeup - the only 100% pure mineral makeup on the market (since 1974), that leaves skin looking airbrushed and flawless.

“We strive to be the premier full service salon in Montpelier. We offer everything from hair styling and straightening and fun “Bling Strands” (as seen on Oprah), facials and makeup, and manicures and pedicures, to lash tinting/enhancements, waxing, bridal consultations and prom hair designs,” relates Onorato, a stylist with over 33 years in the industry.

“Signature Styles is totally ammonia-free, which means our colors and perms leave hair with a healthy and natural feeling - plus a pleasant smelling environment inside our salon.”

Only using and selling the very best products is their signature trademark, and to this extent they have revamped their line of skin care products including Katy Perry, Moroccan Oil lines, KMS California, all new bareMinerals, and even Crew for Men.

“Plus, we think we have the perfect location for all our services at the Capitol Plaza, a much desired facility for weddings and special functions, and visitors to the city.

Although Signature Styles staff are independents, they all pledge to be the best in their trade, attending classes and staying up to date on products, technology, and services. “Everyone pays attention to detail.”
